Gibson Hummingbird Studio Walnut Antique Natural
The Hummingbird has always been admired for its eye-catching finish and authoritative square-shouldered sound. This Hummingbird Studio Walnut offers a more subtle look but delivers traditional Gibson tone by slightly narrowing the body depth and adding walnut for the sides and back.
The Hummingbird Studio Walnut features a natural gloss nitro finished top. The distinctive engraved hummingbird on the pickguard is replaced with a simpler version, and the neck is unbound. Beyond that, it’s all Hummingbird, with Gibson’s recognizable “whomp” (beefy low end) with balanced highs and mids. And a LR Baggs Element Bronze pickup lets you plug and play anywhere. On top of that, the Hummingbird Studio Walnut saves you a bunch over the standard model (this really is a “sound investment”). Hardshell case included.
