If you haven't played one of Takamine's Thinline acoustic models, get ready for a surprise. The TSP138C is super comfortable to play and while it's obviously designed to be amplified, the thinline arched top and back put out a lot more acoustic tone than you'd expect from a guitar that's just over 2" deep.
Naturally, the plugged-in sound is exactly what you've come to expect from Takamine. It's full, quiet, and resistant to feedback - perfect for performing on any size stage. It looks great, too, with the Tea Burst finished solid spruce top, sapele back/sides, multi-ply binding and abalone rosette. The mahogany neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard, abalone inlays and gold-plated tuners. A Takamine semi-hardshell case is included.
