The Bassman 100T offers 100 watts of unmistakable Fender tube punch and tone, and timeless Bassman design. This versatile two-channel powerhouse offers plenty of low-end power for the stage, and all the useful features you need to make it part of your perfect recording rig. Two footswitchable channels offer plenty of tone-shaping controls. Choose between the classic, traditional Vintage channel or the over-the-top, active-style controls on the Overdrive channel.
The passive-style Vintage channel offers classic Fender bass tone with Volume, Bass (pull DEEP), Mid, Treble controls, plus a pull DEEP option on the Bass control and pull BRIGHT option on the Treble control.
The Overdrive channel brings an aggressive, active tone stack with Gain, Blend and Volume; Bass (pull DEEP), Mid Freq, Mid Level, and Treble (pull BRIGHT); a Master (pull MUTE) control lets you maintain your sound at any level.
The Bassman 100T's bold front panel will get your attention, but you'll also appreciate all the smart rear-panel features, too, like being able to select either the full 100 watts or powering down to 25 watts for big tone at lower volumes. And Fender’s remarkable Automatic Bias system constantly monitors and re-biases tubes for optimal performance, so you don’t have to deal with it—it even alerts you when service is required.
An XLR line out lets you run a direct signal to the mixer or studio console, and an impedance selector is included. Choose between classic blackface styling or traditional Blonde covering with oxblood grill cloth.
Why We Like Fender Tube Bass Amps
We love big tubes and transformers for producing big bass tone with authority. And Fender has a solid history of building no-nonsense, heavy-duty rigs that deliver plenty of it. Whether you want ample headroom for any size club—or need to power an arena with low end—Fender has the bass amps that are up to the task.
Over the past 60+ years, Fender has marketed a lot of products for bass players—no company has deeper electric bass roots—and the Fender amps that have stayed within range of the original Bassman designs of the 50s-60s have been consistent performers through every era. Put simply, Fender knows how to do bass.
