G.Gould GGi4 - PJ-GZR - Trans Black Velvet Burst
We always look forward to the arrival of new G. Gould basses because every one is like a new piece of art. Like all Geoff Gould’s beautifully built instruments, this ultra-light 4-string features an astounding top, a gorgeous finish and a carbon-fiber composite neck.* Easy to look at and easy to play, G. Gould basses are consistently among our favorites.
This GGi4 features a strikingly figured maple top finished in in trans black velvet burst. The body is lightweight swamp ash. The graphite neck has a pao ferro fingerboard with 24 frets with pearl dots and comfortable 34” scale. Tuners are low-mass black Gotoh Res-o-lites for excellent balance.
The electronics package features passive EMG PJ-GZR Geezer Butler signature pickups routed through simple Volume/VolumeTone controls. Straightforward but clear and powerful. Great sound to match the gorgeous look.
