G. Gould GGi4 4-String Bass - Rainbow Trout
Geoff Gould never ceases to amaze us with his amazing basses. This one features G. Gould's exclusive Rainbow Trout finish over a premium quilted maple top. The back is lightweight alder, making the GGi4 a comfortable, balanced, easy-to-play bass. Low-mass Gotoh tuners and an aluminum bridge help bring this in at just over 8 lbs.
The graphite neck has a phenolic fingerboard with 24 frets and 34” scale. The electronics package features EMG X pickups run through the EMG-BTS Active Bass and Treble system. The result is great sound and feel to match the gorgeous look.
If you’re not familiar with G. Gould, Geoff Gould is known as “the Godfather of Graphite.” As founder and president of Modulus Graphite, Geoff introduced the world to carbon fiber composite-neck basses (among other innovations). Now he’s crafting spectacular instruments with his eponymous G.Gould Music brand, and we love ‘em!
