The Eastman MD315L mandolin offers classic “F” style design and construction, with a carved solid spruce top with f-holes, carved solid maple back and sides, maple neck with ebony fingerboard and adjustable ebony bridge. The MD315 is a perfect mandolin for bluegrass—all solid woods at a very fair price.
The finish is Eastman’s classic satin stain with multi-ply ivoroid binding on the top. The tone is surprising for a mandolin in this price range: punchy, bright and articulate, and ready for the stage.
The MD315L mandolin offers an excellent buy in a traditionally styled F-style mando. A padded gig bag is included.
