Eastman SB59/v
Based on the SB59’s traditional style and performance, the SB59/v features Eastman's original antique varnish finish—with nitrocellulose color coats and French polished varnish top coat, for a true vintage feel and appearance. The top is book-matched flame maple; the body is a single piece of mahogany. The neck is solid mahogany with ebony fretboard and pearl crown inlays. The top and fingerboard are bound in ivoroid.
A pair of Lollar custom-wound and aged Imperial humbuckers deliver impressive tone. These are very lightly wax-potted—enough to inhibit feedback but not diminish the beautiful airiness we associate with PAFs. Aged nickel Gotoh hardware adds to the road-worn look but delivers dependable, modern functionality. A deluxe hardshell case is included.
