Eastman T386RD Semi-Hollowbody Electric - Cherry Red
The Eastman T-386 isn’t made in Kalamazoo or Memphis, but it brings the same beautiful semi-hollow, center-block, double-humbucker tone and attitude as those other famous dot-neck classics (at a fraction of their cost).
The T-386 features a full-size 16” thinline body with center-block construction for big sustain. The top, back and sides are made from maple laminate to further control resonant feedback—so you can count on plenty of fat, semi-hollowbody tone at any volume. And a thin, nitrocellulose finish means the sound will just get better and better with age.
A pair of Kent Armstrong HPAN Humbucker Pickups deliver a broad range of tones, from warm jazz comping to searing leads (we like the extra low-mids these guitars give soulful crunchy solos). 2 Volume/2 Tone and 3-position switching lets you blend pickups or preset for instant boost.
Cosmetically, this guitar easily competes with the finest “dots,” with it’s gorgeous cherry red finish and multi-ply binding on top, back, fretboard, pickguard and F-holes. We think this is one of the better values we’ve seen in a semi-hollowbody thin line guitar. Hardshell case is included.
