Eastman T59/v-RD Semi-Hollowbody Electric - RED Antique Varnish
Eastman’s hand-rubbed antique varnish finish has proven so popular that they’ve started producing it in a variety of colors and applying it to several of their popular models. The result is an instrument that looks and feels like a true vintage instrument.
The T59/v-RD is a full-size 16” thinline that offers flamed maple laminate top, back and sides, an ebony fretboard and 2 Seymour Duncan Antiquity humbucking pickups.
The neck is solid maple; the fretboard features split-block parallelogram inlays, for a smooth feel and sophisticated look. The body, neck and headstock are bound in a multi-ply aged ivoroid. Aged nickel hardware continues the vintage look throughout.
We think this is one of the sweetest guitars to hit the store in a while—a very complete thought and a real tribute to the original semi-hollowbody designs of the ’50s and ‘60s. Hardshell case included.
