Gretsch  G5230T Electromatic Jet FT

Back to List

Gretsch  G5230T Electromatic Jet FT Single-Cut with Bigsby

The Gretsch Electromatic 5230T offers slim, chambered-body design for resonant, fat and balanced tone. Chambering the mahogany body gives the tone extra lows and mids, while the laminated maple top keeps the highs present and articulate. Blacktop Filter’tron pickups and Bigsby B50 tailpiece give you traditional Gretsch vibe and sound at a very reasonable price.

The bound mahogany neck features a black walnut fretboard with Gretsch’s popular “thumbnail” inlays. Multi-ply aged binding on the body and fretboard give the G5230T a classic look. Flexible controls include a Treble Bleed circuit on the Master Volume control to keep your tone intact when you cut back the volume.

Why We Like Gretsch Electromatic Guitars

The Gretsch Electromatic guitars are very well made, the electronics/pickups are really good and quality control is excellent (we’ve had several players say these are better-made guitars than some of the old NY-made instruments). They offer Gretsch’s classic looks and distinctive tone without paying vintage prices. You can’t find a better, more economical way to get “that great Gretsch sound.”
