Once upon a time, Epiphone solid bodies were considered the poor man’s substitute for their Gibson SG cousins. These days, we recognize the sweet tone and punch of mini-humbuckers, the dependable action of Epi’s Tremotone vibrato tailpiece, and unique style of the body and fretboard inlays.
The new Crestwood Customs feature two Epiphone PRO Mini Humbucker pickups, which are voiced after the American made classics in Les Paul Deluxe models of the '70s — glassy cleans to Gibson grit. The Crestwood also features a three-on-a-side reduced-sized Kalamazoo headstock with Epiphone Bikini badge and ivory-button Epiphone Deluxe tuning machines, along with a clear "butterfly" pickguard with white center stripe and foil E logo.
Other features include a glued-in mahogany neck with a medium C profile, Indian laurel fretboard with 12" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets and Epiphone oval inlays, 2 volume and 2 tone controls, and an Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and Tremotone vibrato tailpiece.
