Fender American Elite Precision Bass  - Natural Ash

The American Elite Precision Bass features classic style, exceptional feel and versatile electronics—so you get the best looks and broadest range of tones.

4th-generation Noiseless pickups offer vintage-style response with completely noise-free performance. An 18-volt preamp delivers tons of signal for more headroom and less noise. 3-band EQ, an Active/Passive switch and pan-style pickup selector gives you maximum control of your tone.

The compound-profile, graphite-reinforced neck goes from a modern "C"-shape at the bone nut to a modern "D"-shaped profile at the relieved heel. A 9.5”-14" compound-radius fingerboard allows effortless playing at any position. The redesigned truss rod adjustment wheel has been moved to the butt end of the neck for easier adjustments.

Additional features include a HiMass Vintage bridge, chrome headstock logo, pearloid fret markers and a redesigned, form-fitted Elite Molded Case with TSA locks to provide increased protection.

Why We Like Fender Basses

Fender basses are the standard by which other electric basses are measured. They were the first, the originals. Fender has made a few changes and introduced new models over the years—like the active American Elite series—but the Precision Bass and Jazz Bass are still the yardsticks for bass tone and design.

We like that virtually every bassist we know—no matter how many custom, whiz-bang basses he or she owns—has at least one Fender bass. We like that they’re reliable, stage-and-studio-worthy, all but indestructible, and reasonably priced. There’s not much we don’t like about Fender Basses.
