Fender Duo-Sonic
When they were introduced in the ‘60s, the Duo-Sonic and Mustang were considered student guitars. With their reintroduction, it’s clear that they’ve been designed to appeal to all kinds of players.
The Duo-Sonic features one of Fender’s favorite offset-body styles with modern features. The maple neck (with maple fretboard) has a 24" scale length for lower string tension. The fretboard is designed with a 9.5" fretboard radius—perfect for comfortable chording and playing single notes that won’t choke when you bend them.
The Duo-Sonic gives you some sweet tones, too. Two Duo-Sonic single-coil pickups offer classic Fender tone: bright and articulate in any position (neck, bridge or combination). Standard tone circuitry keeps things simple and direct with a master volume, master tone and a 3-way toggle switch pickup selector.
We think you’ll enjoy this new version of an old favorite. Decidedly Fender in look and feel, the smaller body and redesigned features make this an easy and very potent addition—or starting place—for your guitar collection.
