Player Series Precision Bass - Black / Maple
Fender’s entry-level Precision Bass offer classic Fender tone, playability and build quality at an affordable price. Made in Fender’s Ensenada factory, these easy-to-play basses deliver traditional P Bass looks and sound, and absolutely live up to Fender’s standards.
If you don't already know pretty much everything about the classic P Bass, you haven't been paying attention in class for the past 60+ years. Features include a solid alder body with gloss finish, maple neck and either a maple of Pau Ferro fingerboard, and a Player Series Alnico 5 single split-coil pickup for that instantly recognizable Precision Bass sound.

Why We Like Fender Basses
Fender basses are the standard by which other electric basses are measured. They were the first, the originals. We like that virtually every bassist we know—no matter how many custom, whiz-bang basses he or she owns—has at least one Fender bass. Fender continues to make improvements—but the reliable, stage-and-studio-worthy Precision Bass and Jazz Bass are still the universal yardsticks for bass tone and design.
