Eastman MD304 A-Style Mandolin Classic Finish
The MD304 is a traditional European A-style mandolin with “teardrop” body and oval sound hole. This style offers a slightly rounder, warmer tone than f-hole mandolins—a bit less cutting and percussive, but still usable for almost any style of playing.
The carved spruce top and mahogany back/sides adds to the warmth (compared to maple-bodied mandos). The vintage sunburst top with ivoroid rosette and binding offer distinctive contrast to set off the MD304 onstage.
Great looks, great tone—this is a very sharp mandolin at a very reasonable price. And like all Eastmans, it’s well-made and enjoyable to play.
