Eastman MD515 F-Style Mandolin
The Eastman MD515 mandolin offers classic “F” style design and construction, with a carved solid spruce top, carved solid maple back and sides, maple neck with ebony fingerboard and adjustable ebony bridge. The MD515 is a perfect mandolin for bluegrass—without breaking the bank.
The finish is Eastman’s high-gloss violin-style stain with multi-ply ivoroid binding on the top. The neck is also bound for a distinctive appearance (in other words, it looks classy). The tone from the F-style body fits the instrument’s appearance: Sophisticated, bright and articulate, and ready for the stage.
The MD515 mandolin offers an excellent buy in a traditionally styled F-style mando. A gig bag is included.
