Eastman MD805 A-Style Mandolin Classic Finish
If you're looking for a standout A-style mandolin, it's hard to beat the Eastman MD805. It offers classic teardrop body design and construction, with a handcarved solid Adirondack spruce top, carved solid flame maple back and sides for outstanding appearance with excellent projection and tonal definition.
The finish is Eastman’s classic gloss finish with multi-ply ivoroid binding on the top and back. These instruments actually receive more attention than some makers' custom-shop lines.
Additional features include a maple neck with bound ebony fingerboard and abalone markers, and adjustable ebony bridge.
We’re consistently impressed with Eastman’s attention to fit and finish on their mandolins, as well as their excellent tone. They are imported, but they offer great sound, looks and build quality at a reasonable price. We like that. A hardshell vinyl case is included.
