Gretsch G5422TG Electromatic Hollow Body - Orange Stain
The G5422TG Electromatic Hollow Body is a gorgeous addition to the Gretsch line. It features a bound, double-cutaway hollow body, sound-post bracing and elegant bound f-holes. With its 2 FT-5E Filter’Tron pickups and gold-plated Bigsby B60G vibrato tailpiece, you’re looking at—and listening to—a powerful, attention-getting Gretsch.
This one has a big, fat sound. The double-coil FT-5E pickups offer a great clean tone but it can also crank. And the hollow body is great for players who use controlled feedback as part of their sound. This one gets it, and does it in style.
Other features include a maple neck; bound rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and hump-block pearloid inlays; gold plexi pickguard; three-position pickup switch; classic “G” arrow control knobs; rosewood-based Adjusto-Matic bridge; vintage-style open-back tuners and gold-plated hardware.
