Fessenden Six-Shooter - 6-String, 2-Pedal Steel Guitar
Corner has received several requests for an inexpensive, entry-level pedal steel guitar (after all, we are in Nashville). It's here.
The Fessenden Six-Shooter is a six-string, two-pedal instrument—perfect for the student or pro musician looking for an easy and inexpensive transition to pedal steel guitar. Compared to traditional 10-string instruments with multiple pedals and knee-levers, the Six-Shooter is extremely straightforward, lightweight, and simple to set up and learn.
The guitar features a hardwood body. One full-range double-coil pickup gives traditional steel guitar tone. Fretboard markers are Fessenden's standard longhorn pattern. Rear legs simply fold up for packing (like a card table).
Note: This is a simple, no-frills guitar for musicians who want to learn the instrument, or double on steel without making a big investment. With much lighter construction than a standard steel guitar, the Six-Shooter is intended to be a cost-effective starting place.
