Epiphone 150th Anniversary Zephyr DeLuxe Regent
The Epiphone Zephyr DeLuxe Regent was originally produced from 1948-1957 and was one of the period's preeminent archtop guitar designs (at a time when Epiphone was Gibson's biggest archtop competitor). These new 150th Anniversary Zephyr DeLuxe Regents are inspired by the highly-collectible vintage originals but with modern updates to meet the needs of today's players.
The new Zephyr DeLuxe Regent is a full hollowbody, featuring laminated arched maple top/back/sides with aged natural gloss finish. The 5-piece maple/mahogany neck has an ebony fingerboard with historic Epiphone Cloud inlays. A deeper cutaway allows for improved upper-fret access.
The pickups are Epiphone NY Mini Humbuckers, perfect for jazz, blues, rockabilly and just about anything in-between—we'd maybe stop at heavy metal. Individual pickup volume and tone controls allow for easy tonal manipulation and blend. Special features for this model include a 150th Anniversary decal on the back of the headstock and a 150th Anniversary Historic hardshell case. We're big fans of this model and we think you'll be, too!
