The build sheet specifically lists a “3/4 Scorpion body w/ point” as a custom option, giving this bass its particularly distinctive shape. The figured Walnut top and back look fantastic over the Mahogany body, with Maple/Purpleheart accents running through the instrument.

The custom details continue throughout: Ebony fingerboard with abalone oval inlays, Maple/Purpleheart neck, gold/brass hardware, green side LED fret markers, beveled peghead front and back, continuous wood backplates, and a Crown peghead.

It has Alembic’s active electronics with volume, pan, two filters, and two Q switches, giving you an enormous amount of tonal control.

It’s an Alembic through and through, but this one has enough custom touches and visual personality to really stand apart from a standard production instrument.
