Alvarez Yairi DYM70CE 2023 Natural
Alvarez Yairi DYM70CE 2023 Natural
To be honest, we haven't always been the biggest Alvarez fans. But the DYM70CE Yairi Dreadnought acoustic guitar is one fine instrument. To start, the tonewoods are sourced from Kani, Japan — the home of the Yairi family and an exceptional climate for tonewoods — resulting in AAA-grade Sitka spruce for the top, East Indian rosewood for the back and sides, and mahogany and ebony for the neck and fingerboard.
This Dreadnought utilizes Alvarez's forward shifted bracing system and direct coupled bridge, causing the instrument to have maximized string separation and balanced projection. The mahogany neck is a very comfortable soft "V" to "C" shape. The LR Baggs Element pickup system allows you to plug-n-play anywhere. Considering the Yairi family has been producing top-of-the-line acoustic guitars for decades, it's no surprise that the Alvarez DYM70CE is great-playing, sweet-sounding, and one of the most well-constructed Dreadnoughts on the market. Hardshell case included. We're definitely fans of this one!
