Gibson Hummingbird Studio Rosewood 2023 - Satin Rosewood Burst

The Hummingbird has always been admired for its eye-catching finish and authoritative square-shouldered sound. This Hummingbird Studio Rosewood offers a more subtle look but delivers traditional Gibson tone by slightly narrowing the body depth and adding rosewood for the sides and back. 

The familiar cherry sunburst has been warmed up with a Rosewood Burst top finish. The distinctive engraved hummingbird on the pickguard is replaced with a more simplified version, and the neck is unbound. Beyond that, it’s all Hummingbird, with Gibson’s recognizable “whomp” (beefy low end) with balanced highs and mids. And an LR Baggs Element Bronze pickup lets you plug and play anywhere. On top of that, the Hummingbird Studio Rosewood saves you a bunch over the standard model (this really is a “sound investment”). Hardshell case included.
