Former Megadeth (and current Act of Defiance) guitarist Chris Broderick has joined with Jackson to produce a fierce, reasonably priced 6-string that looks and plays great, and is capable of producing the intense musical and tonal range for modern metal.
It starts with a figured poplar burl top over a mahogany body. A through-body maple neck meets the body with a scarf joint for easy access to higher frets. The bound laurel fingerboard has a 12” radius and 24 jumbo frets for articulate fingering/tapping up and down the board.
A pair of DiMarzio Chris Broderick signature CB6 humbucking pickups are routed through a Volume control with a push/pull coil-splitting function. The Tone control’s push/pull opens up additional tone possibilities. A mini-toggle kill switch is included.
