Alien Audio basses are the brainchild of Nashville pro bassist Charlie "Chopper" Anderson. The line includes single- and double-cutaway models, available in 4- and 5-string configurations. Tonal versatility is off the charts.
Standard models feature Nordstrand pickups routed through a proprietary preamp co-designed with legendary electronics developer Mo West. Controls include Volume, Tone, Blend, and a 3-band EQ. In addition, push/pull knobs transform the Volume control into an Overdrive control and the Tone control from vintage to hi-fi/modern voicing.
The neck is satin-finished maple with a rosewood fretboard, 22 PLEK-leveled frets, and Hipshot Ultralight tuners. The bridge is also made by Hipshot. This bass is pre-loved but in very good condition. It does have one small ding on the front near the control knobs (pictured). It weighs 9 lbs. 3 oz.
