Cordoba’s Matiz series combines traditional tonewoods in 4 eye-catching colors* with cream binding and maple accents. These are inexpensively made instruments aimed at casual or beginning players, but they sound very good (better than some much more-expensive classical guitars here in our store).

Spruce top and mahogany back and sides provide the traditional warmth you expect from a nylon string guitar, while the maple headplate, bridge, and full-scale fretboard give the C1 Matiz a new look that makes the body colors pop. A satin polyurethane finish provides protection against nicks and scratches.
Each Córdoba Protégé Matiz Guitar includes a color-matched gig bag made of recycled nylon for responsible, sustainable, and fashionable protection.
