D'Angelico Premier DC - Champagne with Gig Bag
D'Angelico Premier DC - Champagne with Gig Bag
The D’Angelico name implies the epitome of American-made archtop guitars from the ‘40s-’50s. And while this is certainly not, it is a very well-made semi-hollow body that’s great-looking, lightweight, easy-playing, and tonally versatile. It’s used, but in excellent condition with just a few tiny marks/scratches that you really have to look for, none of which have any impact on the guitar’s performance or playability.
The handsome double-cutaway body is laminated maple. The slim maple neck is set into the body with a sculpted heel. Aesthetically, it has all the deluxe D’Angelico trademarks, including multi-ply binding on the body and Ovangkol fretboard, and the instantly recognizable headstock with abalone logo, Premier shield logo, and aluminum “skyscraper” truss rod cover.
Two D'Angelico humbuckers offer full-bodied mid-range tones incorporating both a sweet low-end and crisp high-end. Bottom line: It’s a sweet guitar (even if it’s not a true, NY D’Angelico). A gig bag is included.
