This Dano Vintage 12 is a great sounding, very affordable 12-string. Because so few players use a 12-string exclusively, we like being able to offer inexpensive models as an extra addition to any player’s arsenal—and this one fills the bill nicely.
The Vintage 12 offers a range of tones, from bright and twangy to warm and mellow, from a pair of ’56 vintage lipstick pickups.A fully adjustable 12-saddle bridge allows for precise intonation, while a stop tailpiece (half the strings mount though the body, half are top-mounted) and 6-in-a-row tuners make string changes a snap, compared to many more-expensive 12-string brands. Plus, the Vintage 12 features an easy-playing neck and fun colors.
This is Korean factory workmanship at its finest—no, really—and every Dano is inspected and set up in the U.S. before delivery. We like ‘em—fun design, good sound and very affordable.

Why We Like It
Danelectro guitars and basses have been around since the '50s, and the list of Dano players has included Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck and many other greats. Lightweight construction, "lipstick" pickups and distinctive quack set them apart. Made overseas and finished in California, this newest generation of very affordable Danelectros are as quality as they are quirky. We love 'em.
