Eastman AR372CE 2024 - Sunburst
The Eastman AR372CE is a well-made, extremely reasonably priced electric archtop, in the full-hollowbody style of the classics from Kalamazoo (used on countless jazz recordings and live dates). It features laminated maple top, back and sides for articulate attack and classic archtop tone. The Florentine cutaway offers easy access to upper frets and the humbucking-design pickups gives you the smooth, fat tone you expect from a traditional “jazz box.”
Additional features include a 3-piece maple neck with bound rosewood fretboard and parallelogram pearloid inlays. The body features a high-gloss blonde nitrocellulose finish with multi-ply binding, bound f-holes and a 4-ply pickguard. The adjustable bridge is rosewood; tuners are individual, enclosed style.
Two Kent Armstrong HPAG1 humbucking pickups are routed through a 2 Volume/2 Tone control circuit, so the sound and function are simple and straightforward—perfect for quintessential jazz tone and performance.
