Eastman E6SS-TC 2022 Thermo-Cure Natural #0033
Eastman E6SS-TC 2022 Thermo-Cure Natural #0033
We received this guitar with quite a few scratches on the back. They're faint enough to where we can't get a great picture of all of them, but they're there. We have discounted the price due to this. All of the scratches are purely cosmetic and do not impact the performance or playability of the instrument. If you aren't scared of a few scratches (that really no one would see unless you show them the back of your guitar), then here's your chance to save on an excellent sounding acoustic.
The Eastman E6SS-TC is made in the tradition of classic slope shoulder acoustics, favored for their sensitive dynamics and widely sought-after tonal properties. A slope shoulder dreadnought offers all the low-end and mid-focused "whomp" that we love in big-bodied acoustics, without sacrificing highs and clarity.
The Eastman E6SS-TC features a solid thermo-cured Sitka Spruce top, providing a more mature, "played-in" tone, that balances well with its solid mahogany back and sides—this top does have some very unique "bear claw" style grain throughout that you don't normally see on this model. A mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, 24.75" scale length and 12" radius makes this one as easy to play as it is to look at.
Eastman has really raised the bar with their affordable acoustic instruments, and we feel these guitars compete admirably with many traditional U.S.-made brands.
