If you love guitars that feel familiar but aren't trying to be another copy of something you've already played a hundred times, this Eastman FullerTone '62 is worth a look.
Eastman has quietly become one of those brands that just keeps knocking it out of the park, and the FullerTone series is a great example of that. It's got some offset attitude, a little vintage inspiration, and a few modern touches that make it an absolute joy to play.
The Gold finish paired with the gold foil covered humbuckers gives it a ton of personality without being over the top. Tonally, there's a lot to explore here too. The Tonerider humbuckers can get warm and full, but they've still got plenty of clarity and bite when you lean into them.
One thing Eastman consistently gets right is the feel. The roasted maple neck, 12" radius, and medium round profile make this one feel broken in right out of the case, and the 24-fret layout gives you plenty of room to roam without ever feeling cramped.
The patented FullerTone construction and Göldo tremolo system round everything out nicely, making this a guitar that's equally comfortable hanging in a collection or getting put to work every night.
