The Eastman MD305 mandolin offers classic “A” style design and construction, with a carved solid spruce top, and carved solid maple back and sides. The maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard and adjustable ebony bridge.
The finish is Eastman’s vintage violin-style classic stain with ivoroid binding on the top. The tone from the A-style body is warm but very articulate, with plenty of midrange projection. We think the MD305 mandolin offers an excellent value.
