Eastman’s SB55 series guitars honor some of the earliest slab-body favorites, with 1-piece solid mahogany bodies and necks and single dog-ear P-90 pickups. But in addition to the simplicity and vibe, these guitars’ modern features make them easier to play and better sounding than the originals.
Lollar “50’s Spec” P-90s deliver authentic tone and CTS 500K pots (no-load tone pot) and Sprague Orange Drop capacitors guarantee clean, reliable performance. An ebony fingerboard with 12” radius offers easy string bending. And Eastman’s antique varnish finish offers a true-vintage appearance and wide-open, resonant tone.
This guitar is aged at the factory to give it a worn-out look and feel.
