This Eastman SB59/S is a seriously cool take on the classic single-cut design. The Burgundy Red satin finish looks awesome in person, and the whole guitar has that vintage-inspired vibe without feeling like it’s trying too hard to be a “vintage” guitar.
The Traditional Even C neck feels really comfortable in the hand — not super chunky, but definitely not one of those ultra-thin modern necks either. The 12" radius rosewood fingerboard gives you plenty of room to move around, whether you're playing chords or getting into some lead work and the okoume body keeps the weight pretty reasonable.
For pickups, Eastman went with a pair of Tonerider Alnico 2 Classic humbuckers. These have a really nice old school character to them — warm and smooth when you want it, but they’ll definitely growl when you turn things up.
If you’ve been wanting that classic single-cut sound and feel but don’t necessarily need to chase down an older vintage example, this is a really fun option. It’s the kind of guitar that looks great sitting on a stand but is even better once you plug it in. Comes with a gig bag.
