Eastman SB59/v 2025 - Goldburst

If you like the Eastman SB59’s traditional style and performance, you’ll appreciate the well-travelled look and feel of the SB59/v-GB, highlighted by its distinctive goldburst antique varnish finish.

Inspired by the made-in-Kalamazoo classic, the SB59/v-GB features a solid flame maple top over a 1-piece okoume body. The neck is solid okoume with an ebony fingerboard and pearl crown inlays—comfortable and playable with a soft-V profile. The top and fretboard are both bound in ivoroid. Its thin, violin-style antique varnish topcoat produces a naturally worn patina that looks authentically vintage rather than artificially reliced.

A pair of Lollar Custom Aged/Wound Imperial humbuckers delivers attack, sustain, and warmth. Aged nickel Gotoh hardware reinforces the road-worn aesthetic while providing modern reliability. A hardshell case is included. The SB59 line offers exceptional value relative to the American instruments that inspired them—excellent guitars without reservation.
