The full-size T486 16” thinline offers features typically found on guitars costing two to three times as much. This model, in a rare Black nitrocellulose finish (no longer available in this color), features a maple laminate top, back, and sides, along with an ebony fretboard and two Seymour Duncan pickups for premium sound and playability.
The neck is crafted from solid maple, providing a sturdy yet comfortable feel, while the fretboard is adorned with split-block parallelogram inlays, adding a touch of sophistication and enhancing playability. Both the body and neck are bound in multi-ply ivoroid, giving the guitar an elegant, polished look. Chrome hardware adds shine without being overwhelming.
Two Seymour Duncan humbuckers—a Jazz in the neck position and a ’59 in the bridge—bring the T486 to life with rich, authentic tones that offer depth, clarity, and a bit of bite. This pickup combination is one of our favorites for its versatility, making the T486 suitable for a wide range of styles and tones.
