Eastman T58 Gold 2026
Eastman T58 Gold 2026
If you’re into that classic Gretsch-style sparkle but want something a little more refined and handmade feeling, the Eastman T58 is a killer piece. This thing just oozes old-school cool, but it’s not just a looker—it’s got the tone and feel to back it up.
First thing you notice is the body—it’s a full 16" Venetian cutaway archtop with a little more depth than the T64, so it’s got that bigger, airier voice. The spruce laminate top adds some warmth and bloom, while the maple back and sides keep things tight enough to handle gain without getting out of control.
Then you hit a chord unplugged and it already sounds alive… plug it in and those Tonerider Vtron pickups bring that chimey, jangly top end with a nice tight low end. Think rockabilly, indie, classic rock—anything where you want clarity with a little attitude.
And yeah… the Bigsby B70 just seals the deal. Smooth, musical, and just begging for those subtle wiggles and expressive chords.
Neck feels super familiar if you’ve played other Eastmans—the Traditional Even C carve sits right in that sweet spot. The ebony board and 12" radius keep everything feeling slick, and the slightly longer 25" scale gives it a little extra snap and string tension compared to your typical short-scale hollowbody.
The gold finish? Super classy. Not over-the-top flashy—more of that warm, vintage gold that looks right at home under stage lights.
