Fender JMJ Road Worn Mustang Bass 2025 - Daphne Blue
Fender JMJ Road Worn Mustang Bass 2025 - Daphne Blue
Justin Meldal-Johnsen’s bass/production credits with Beck, Nine Inch Nails, and other top acts allow him to afford any instrument, but he still loves the feel and tone of his '60s-era short-scale Fender Mustang Bass. With its easy-playing 30” scale, 9.5” radius, and 19-fret rosewood fingerboard—and custom Seymour Duncan split-coil pickup—the old Mustang Bass has the perfect sound and feel.
In addition to vibe, simplicity, and power, the JMJ Mustang Bass features vintage-style hardware, flatwound strings, aged pearloid pickguard, and Hipshot “lollipop” tuners. Master volume and tone controls, and road-worn Daphne Blue finish complete the package. A deluxe Fender gig bag is included. This one weighs 7 lbs 13 oz.
