Fender “The Strat” 1980-1983 - Aztec White
Fender “The Strat” 1980-1983 - Aztec White
Here’s a piece of Fender history that’s got all the mojo you’d hope for—this is a Fender “The Strat,” made between 1980 and 1983. Finished in Aztec White, it’s aged into a warm, yellowed hue over the years that just oozes character. There’s some honest wear throughout, but nothing out of the ordinary for a nearly 45-year-old guitar that’s been played—and it wears it all well.
Aside from a replaced trem arm, everything appears to be original, right down to the gold hardware, which has aged gracefully with a nice bit of patina. It looks good, feels great in hand, and sounds every bit like the bold, punchy Strat it was designed to be. It’s a little on the heavier side at 9 lbs 10 oz, but that only adds to the sustain and presence this one delivers.
If you're after a vintage Strat with tone, vibe, and personality—this one checks all the boxes. A case is included.
