The Vintera II '50s Nocaster features an alder body and a maple neck for classic Fender tone that's full of punch and clarity. The Telecaster was originally named the "Broadcaster." But since Gretsch already had a BroadKaster model, Fender was forced to stop using the name. To address the complaint, they simply removed the decals on the first run of guitars now known by collectors as the "Nocaster," and this is a great, affordable recreation of those early "Nocasters."
