G. Gould GGi4 2022 Butterscotch

G. Gould’s amazing basses are so consistent, we’ve become spoiled by their best-of-the-best finishes and performance. This one features a butterscotch gloss finish over a torrified (roasted) Eastern pine body, making this GGi4 a great-looking, easy-to-play bass. Low-mass Gotoh tuners and a lightweight Hipshot aluminum bridge help bring it in at just 7.8 lbs.

The graphite neck has a phenolic fingerboard with 24 frets—precise, clear, and tonally articulate—and perfect for touring, since the whole neck is impervious to movement. The electronics package features EMG X pickups (EMG-CSX humbucker in the bridge, and the EMG-35PX in the neck). These are run through the EMG-BTS EQ with active bass and treble controls. The result is great sound and feel to match the gorgeous look.
