This GGi5 Studio-3 features an eye-popping Rainbow Trout burst over a stunning quilted maple top, paired with a lightweight alder body. The all-graphite molded neck is topped with a phenolic fingerboard and 24 frets, and the 35" scale length ensures exceptional clarity and tension on the low B string—one of Geoff’s hallmark innovations.
What really sets the GGi5 Studio-3 apart is its new 3-pickup, 3-channel mixer design. Three discreet channel volume controls near the bridge allow independent control of each pickup, feeding into a master volume along with active bass and treble controls via the EMG BTS system. In a clever twist, each channel volume features 11 detente stops, making it easy to return to favorite tone blends on the fly. It’s a powerful, intuitive setup that invites experimentation and rewards precision.
Hardware is equally dialed in, with Res-O-Lite tuners and a Hipshot aluminum Type A bridge with 17.5mm spacing, keeping the bass perfectly balanced and incredibly responsive.
