Gibson 70s Explorer 2025 - Classic White
Gibson 70s Explorer 2025 - Classic White
Big body, hockey-stick headstock, all attitude. It’s one of those guitars that somehow still looks futuristic and classic at the same time. And in Classic White with the black knobs and chrome hardware? Yeah… this thing looks ready for a stage before you even plug it in.
The mahogany body gives it that thick, punchy foundation, while the ’70s Tribute Burstbuckers keep things tight and aggressive without getting muddy. Plenty of output for rock and heavier stuff, but they clean up surprisingly well too. Big chords sound huge, leads cut through easy, and the whole guitar just has that unmistakable Explorer authority to it.
Neck’s got Gibson’s SlimTaper profile, so despite the oversized look, it’s actually a really comfortable guitar to play. Hangs well, balances nicely, and doesn’t feel awkward once it’s strapped on. And at 8lbs 5oz, it’s got enough weight to feel substantial without being a shoulder killer, and the nitro finish should age into something really cool over time.
If you want a guitar that’s equal parts riff machine and statement piece, this is pretty much the blueprint.
B-STOCK: Tiny spot in the finish on the top of the guitar. Hardly noticeable and it doesn’t appear to be a blemish but rather something with the paint—didn’t come off with a standard polish and rag buff.
