The three-piece Maple neck, with its comfortable C-shaped profile, feels smooth and fast in your hands, while the bound Ebony fingerboard, with a 12" radius, is adorned with Mother of Pearl block inlays and medium jumbo frets, offering a luxurious playing experience. This guitar features Gibson humbuckers in both the neck and bridge positions, delivering the warm, fat tone Lucille is known for. With 3-way toggle switching, individual volume and tone controls for each pickup, and the versatile 6-way Varitone switch, you have a wide range of tonal options at your fingertips.
Originally equipped with gold hardware, this Lucille now sports chrome replacements. However, all of the original gold hardware is included in the case, so you can easily restore it back to original specs if you wish. A Bigsby tremolo has been added for extra expression, and the pickguard has been removed, but the original pickguard will ship with the guitar.
This guitar is in very good condition for being 25 years old, with only superficial surface scratches on the body and some rash on the back. At 10 pounds 1 ounce, it’s not for the faint of hear (or the faint of shoulder rather). Complete with a hardshell case and all its original parts, this Lucille is ready to sing again in the hands of its next lucky owner.
