Gibson J-45 Standard 2025 - Vintage Sunburst
Gibson J-45 Standard 2025 - Vintage Sunburst
If you’re not familiar with this slope-shouldered workhorse of the Gibson lineup, the J-45 has been around since 1942 and is considered by many to be an essential member of any serious acoustic player’s arsenal. A Sitka spruce top over mahogany back and sides gives it the perfect balance of presence and warmth. The J-45 produces plenty of low-end punch, but not at the expense of mids and highs—perfect for recording and live use.
The 24.75” scale makes the J-45 a bit easier to play than many square-shouldered dreadnoughts, but with no loss of power. And the Vintage Sunburst finish gives it a classic appearance, appropriate for any venue or style of music.
