Same slope-shoulder feel, same familiar response, but swapping in rosewood back and sides takes it in a slightly different direction. You still get that warm, punchy J-45 foundation, just with deeper lows, a bit more sparkle up top, and a richer, more layered overtone thing happening. It’s got a little more “hi-fi” feel without losing that workhorse character.
The SlimTaper mahogany neck keeps it fast and comfortable, and the shorter scale gives it that easy, broken-in feel right out of the case. Strum it hard, play it soft—it holds together really well either way.
