Gibson Marcus King ES-345 2025 - Sixties Cherry
Gibson Marcus King ES-345 2025 - Sixties Cherry
The Marcus King signature ES-345 is a recreation of his legendary ‘62 “Big Red.” Designed with Gibson to honor the guitar passed down through his family for three generations, this signature model nails the vintage mojo while tightening things up for today’s stage and studio demands.
From the moment you plug in, the Custombuckers speak with warmth, clarity, and a raw bluesy growl that’s every bit as expressive as the man himself. The 3-ply maple/poplar/maple body and solid maple center block offer up that perfect ES mix of resonance and feedback control, while the quarter-sawn Adirondack spruce bracing adds just the right amount of bloom and detail.
A rounded mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and classic split parallelogram inlays plays like a well-worn glove, and the fixed vibrola tailpiece is a nod to the original's style—with none of the tuning headaches. Finished in rich Sixties Cherry and decked out with gold hardware, this ES-345 has both the voice and looks of a future classic.
