The Gibson SJ-200 Original uses a Sitka spruce top and flame maple back/sides with thin nitrocellulose finish to recreate the distinctive appearance and sound that have made the SJ-200 the King of the Flat-tops since its introduction in 1937.
Typically, these big 17" bodies deliver huge bass (like few other guitars can). This particular SJ-200 Original has the thump, but it's actually one of the best balanced jumbos we've played, offering a sweet balance of lows, mids and high end clarity.
