Godin’s popular Premier HT semi-hollow archtop offers plenty of versatility. The Seymour Duncan SH-2N and Godin Custom Humbucker deliver the perfect combination of punch, harmonics, and clarity, capable of handling just about any style of music—though admittedly, we think it excels at classic rock, blues, indie, jazz, and traditional country (before the Tele pickers became the country kings). Basic control options (master volume, master tone, and 3-way selector) make it easy to dial in exactly what you need in a flash.
The Premiere HT is constructed of a Canadian Wild Cherry body and mahogany neck. The body is ultra-lightweight and sings when you play it acoustically, so you can expect a sweet, solid performance when you plug in. The Premiere HT features a classic hardtail design with a Graph Tech ResoMax bridge for accurate intonation. And Godin’s matte Laguna Blue finish is sure to earn some looks onstage. A Godin gig bag is included.
