Built with a 2.25" maple hollow body and parallel bracing, the Studiomatic feels lively and resonant in your hands while still offering excellent clarity and control. The custom Filter’Tron pickups deliver that unmistakable Gretsch sparkle and articulation, but the real party trick is the Abbey Road–inspired Rumble Filter circuit. Developed in collaboration with Abbey Road engineers, it adds two high-pass filter voicings that tighten up the low end and add clarity—perfect for dialing in focused tones for recording or live work without losing the fullness of the humbuckers.
The classic walnut stain finish paired with gold hardware and the custom Abbey Road head badge gives it a classy, understated look that feels right at home on stage or in the studio. It’s also lightweight at 7 lbs 6 oz, making it a very comfortable guitar to play for long sessions.
Condition-wise,there are a couple of very faint surface scratches on the back from being played in-store, but they’re extremely light, only visible in certain lighting, and purely cosmetic—no impact to tone or playability whatsoever. Still comes with a full manufacturer warranty as well.
